박찬호의 4/12일 콜로라도 원정 경기후 mlb.com에 실린 기사이다.
매뉴얼 감독과 더비 투수코치는 시범경기후 첫 등판이라는 점과 날씨가 안 좋은 점을 들어 박찬호의 기록이 좋지 않았다고 했다. 하지만 2009 시즌 첫 선발 경기를 산뜻하게 출발하지 못한 것은 사실이다.
박찬호의 다음 선발 경기는 4/18(토) 샌디에고 파드레스와 홈경기이다. 쿠어스필드에 못지 않게 타자들에게 유리한 시티즌 뱅크 구장에서의 경기여서 염려는 되지만 좋은 결과 기대해 본다.

DENVER -- Chan Ho Park took solace in one thing Sunday afternoon at Coors Field.
"They beat me, but they couldn't beat us," he said.

The Phillies beat the Rockies, 7-5, thanks to Chase Utley's two-run game-tying home run in the eighth inning and pinch-hitter Matt Stairs' two-run game-winning home run in the ninth inning.

Stairs, Utley and another stellar performance from the Phils' bullpen got Park off the hook after he allowed seven hits, five runs, three walks and one home run in just 3 2/3 innings in his debut as a Phillies starter.

Philadelphia's starters are 1-3 with a 9.62 ERA in six games, but manager Charlie Manuel and pitching coach Rich Dubee said they are not worried about their rotation or Park, who beat J.A. Happ in Spring Training for the final spot in the rotation.

"Why?" said Dubee, asked if there is any reason to be alarmed about the rotation.

Park said his slider wasn't working in the first inning, when he allowed five hits, four runs and threw 48 pitches. He allowed one run and two hits in the final 2 2/3 innings he pitched.

The bullpen allowed just two hits and two walks in 5 2/3 scoreless innings. Chad Durbin, who entered the game with an 18.00 ERA in three appearances, threw two scoreless innings. He had made some mechanical adjustments, which seemed to make a difference.
필리스 불펜은 시즌 오픈 후 24이닝 동안 7실점하며 2승 무패 방어율 2.63을 기록 중이다. 안타 7개, 볼넷 7개를 허용하고 삼진은 22개를 잡았다.
The bullpen is 2-0 with a 2.63 ERA (seven earned runs in 24 innings) this season. It has allowed just eight hits and seven walks and struck out 22.
박찬호는 경기 후에 클럽하우스를 돌아다녔고 결국 인터뷰에 응했다.
Park looked around the clubhouse afterward and was impressed.
"이런 식의 경기를 갖고 싶지 않다." "등판 결과가 안 좋았다. 홈런을 허용했고 경기는 끝났다. 그러나 우리팀은 좋은 팀이다. 우리팀은 곧 좋아 질 것이다."라고 박찬호는 말했다.
"I don't have this kind of game," Park said. "I would have a bad outing, give up some home runs and then after that this game is over. But this team is good. We came back."
박찬호도 (그 자신이) 좋아지기를 바란다. 박찬호는 토요일 저녁 홈구장에서 파드레스를 상대로 시즌 두번째 선발 등판을 한다.
He hopes to come back, too. He makes his second start of the season Saturday night against the Padres at Citizens Bank Park.
