미니 블로그 (마이크로 블로그) - 미투데이, 플레이톡, 토시, 트위터
한줄로 작성하는 블로그로서 블로그 기능에 메신저와 휴대폰 문자메시지, 소셜 네트워킹 기능을 합쳐 놓은 서비스이다. 미니 블로그에 직접 글을 올릴 수도 있고 140단어까지 휴대폰이나 메신저로도 입력 가능하며 입력된 내용은 RSS를 통해 지인들과 공유할 수 있다.
미니 블로그가 갖고 있는 가장 큰 장점은 가볍다는 것이다. 일반적인 블로그에 글을 하나 등록하려면 특정 주제를 잡고 일정 시간과 노력을 투자하여 논리적으로 글을 작성해야 한다. 그렇지만 미니 블로그는 간단한 생각이나 느낌, 질문, 안부 등을 메모처럼 가볍게 쓰고 저장만 하면 된다. 무거운 주제가 아닌 경우가 많아 댓글다는 것도 쉽다. 이때문에 미니블로그에 글을 올리면 실시간으로 댓글이 따라 붙는다. 이런 면에서 댓글이나 낙서 놀이로 보일 수 있지만, 미니 블로그는 특정 주제를 간략하게 정리하고 불특정 다수로부터 의견을 받을 수 있는 점이 있어 간결함과 편리성을 갖고 있다고 볼 수 있다.
'07년부터 미니 블로그 서비스를 제공하는 사이트가 나타나기 시작했고, 국내 사이트로는 '미투데이(http://me2day.net)', '플레이톡(http://playtalk.net/)', '토시(http://www.tossi.net)' 등 있다.
미투데이는 한번 쓴 글은 수정이나 삭제가 불가능하며,일종의 추천기능이 있어 좋은 글에 대해서 추천할 수 있다.
플레이톡은 최근 3일간의 글만 노출되며, 자신의 블로그에 누가 다녀갔는지 알 수 있도록 했다. 구글 어스 서비스와 매쉬업하여 상대방이 어디 있는지도 알려주는 기능이 흥미롭다.
토시는 미투데이나 플레이톡 보다 늦게 출발한 사이트지만 SK 텔레콤이 서비스를 하고 있다. 이미지까지 올리는 미니 블로그가 있어 일반 블로그와 별반 차이가 없어 보인다.
미니 블로그 서비스를 하는 미국 사이트로는 '트위터(http://twitter.com)'가 있다. 미국에서는 미니 블로그 서비스를 유투브를 이어 새롭게 주목 받는 서비스로 각광 받고 있다.
정보의 홍수 속에서 가벼운 메모와 댓글로 느낌이나 생각을 공유하고 소통할 수 있게 해준다는 점에서 미국의 트위터나 한국의 미투데이, 플레이톡은 웹2.0에 충실한 서비스로 인식되고 있으며 새로운 블로그 시장을 형성하고 있다.

Yankees at the plate: With 13 hits through the fourth inning, the Yankees had five starters with a multihit game by the end of the night. Jorge Posada finished with three hits and three RBIs, two of which came courtesy of his second-inning homer. Bobby Abreu had a 2-for-4 night with two RBIs and two runs scored, while both Alex Rodriguez and Hideki Matsui had two hits and one RBI apiece. Infielder Nick Green put New York ahead to stay in the eighth with a towering two-run homer over the left-field wall.
Pirates at the plate: With the wind steadily blowing out to left field, Nate McLouth began a 2-for-3 night with a leadoff homer in the first, his second of the spring. McLouth later led off the third with a double and scored on Freddy Sanchez's one-out single. Ryan Doumit and Chris Gomez each knocked a solo homer as well.
Yankees on the mound: Yankees starter Phil Hughes didn't fare so well for the second straight appearance, leaving Wednesday's game after allowing seven hits and seven runs (six earned) in four innings. And after surrendering just one homer in his previous three games, Hughes gave up three in his first time through the Pirates order. Lefty Billy Traber gave up one hit and two unearned runs in an inning of relief, while LaTroy Hawkins made his sixth straight scoreless spring appearance.
Pirates on the mound: It was not an outing to remember for Matt Morris, who gave up 13 hits and eight runs in four innings of work. Morris had originally been slated to throw five innings on Wednesday. In stark contrast to Morris' outing, lefty Phil Dumatrait was once again impressive, throwing two hitless innings of relief on a night when New York runners swarmed the basepaths. Byung-Hun Kim picked up the loss, giving up four runs in the eighth.
Grapefruit League records: Yankees 10-7-2; Pirates 8-13.
Up next for the Yankees: Right-hander Ian Kennedy will get the call as the Yankees head to Dunedin, Fla., for a 1:05 p.m. ET game with the Blue Jays at Knology Park on Thursday. The heart of the Yankees lineup -- Derek Jeter, Abreu, Rodriguez and Jason Giambi -- will remain behind with the day off. Toronto will counter with right-hander Brett Cecil.
Up next for the Pirates: It will be a quick turnaround for the Pirates after Wednesday's night game, as they will make the drive to Clearwater, Fla., early on Thursday to face the Phillies for the fifth and final time this spring season. Ian Snell will take the mound for the Pirates in his first start since signing a multiyear contract and being named the club's Opening Day starter. Also scheduled to pitch for Pittsburgh are Evan Meek, Jaret Wright and Franquelis Osoria.
Dodgers send Johnson to Minors camp

JUPITER, Fla. -- The Dodgers made one final roster move on Tuesday before heading to Arizona, reassigning veteran right-hander Jason Johnson to Minor League camp.
Johnson, 34, made five Grapefruit League appearances for the Dodgers, finishing with a 4.50 ERA. He struck out three batters and walked six over eight spring innings.
After spending one season pitching for the Saibu Lions in Japan, Johnson signed a Minor League deal with the Dodgers last month, accepting a non-roster invitation to Spring Training. In a 10-year Major League career spent mostly as a starting pitcher, Johnson bounced between seven different teams, compiling a 55-98 record and 4.99 ERA.
He had been competing with fellow right-handers Yhency Brazoban, Greg Jones and Chan Ho Park -- among others -- for a roster spot with the Dodgers.

김병현선수가 스프링캠프 데뷰전을 치루었습니다.
스프링캠프에 늦게 참여하여 투구 프로그램이 진행 중 임에도 김병현선수는 스프링캠프로 부터 얻어질 수 있는 실현 가능한 불펜 요원이 될 수 있는 모든 이유를 보여 주었다.

Bucs' Kim settles down in spring debut
After serving up a first-pitch home run to Phillies slugger Ryan Howard on Monday, Kim settled in and recorded three straight outs in his one inning of relief. The appearance was the first for the 29-year-old South Korean this spring.
"[I was] very excited about it," pitching coach Jeff Andrews said afterward. "I talked to [catcher Ryan] Doumit about what he saw and he said the ball was really light and he liked his slider. And he showed more velocity than he did in his [side sessions].
"I would have thought he'd be further behind, but not after I saw his velocity."
After throwing batting practice on Friday, Kim had said he was concerned that he was still not feeling game-ready. However, his assessment after Monday's game was that he is right on track.
"I feel pretty good," said Kim, speaking in broken English. "Just the first pitch. The other ones were pretty good with location. I have to see more hitters. My stuff was OK."
As the Pirates begin to piece together a versatile bullpen -- which still potentially has four open spots in it -- Kim provides an intriguing option. His sidearm delivery and effectiveness against right-handers has been noted by Andrews and manager John Russell as something that could be extremely beneficial out of the 'pen.
The Pirates signed Kim to an $850,000 Minor League deal back on Feb. 24. Only $300,000 of that contract is guaranteed, and Kim does have an opt-out clause in his contract if he does not make the team out of Spring Training.
General manager Neal Huntington did make it clear when the signing was announced that Kim was by no means a shoo-in for a roster spot. However, with the Pirates needing two and likely at least three additional right-handers for the bullpen, the veteran Kim appears to be in line as one of the top candidates.
"The guy's been around," Russell said. "He adds a different dimension for you. The different things he can come with, the different speeds. He's got some life to his fastball still. It gives you a different look in the bullpen."
Kim is scheduled to make his next one-inning appearance on Thursday, when the Pirates face the Yankees.

Dodgers at the plate: Andruw Jones delivered a run-scoring single in the first inning, and the Dodgers came back for three more runs in the third. Rafael Furcal tripled in a run in that rally and scored on a run-scoring single by Delwyn Young. Matt Kemp, who hit into a double play in the first inning, doubled in a run in the third. Jones broke a 4-4 tie in the eighth with a two-run homer.
Orioles at the plate: Brian Roberts drew a walk and stole two bases in the fourth inning. Roberts has seven stolen bases this spring -- including three of third base -- and hasn't been caught yet. Nick Markakis tripled in two runs in the fourth and catcher Ramon Hernandez made it a one-run game with a single in the sixth.
Dodgers on the mound: Chan Ho Park pitched three perfect innings for Los Angeles and has worked seven scoreless frames in three outings this spring. Park got four groundouts, four flyouts and one strikeout on Monday. Eric Stults took the ball in the fourth inning and got five outs and allowed five baserunners -- one on a hit and four on walks.
Orioles on the mound: Steve Trachsel pitched four innings and allowed seven hits. The Dodgers reached him for two extra-base hits and four runs, but only three of them were earned. Veteran reliever Chad Bradford tossed a scoreless inning, and George Sherrill threw two perfect frames. Sherrill, the favorite to be Baltimore's closer, got all flyouts in his first inning and all groundouts in his final frame.
Grapefruit League records: Dodgers 6-6-1; Orioles 6-5-1.
Up next: The Dodgers will take on the Marlins on Tuesday at 1:05 p.m. ET in Vero Beach, Fla., pitting Derek Lowe against Florida's Andrew Miller. Baltimore will play against the Cardinals in Jupiter at 1:05, and Daniel Cabrera will pitch against Todd Wellemeyer.
Park keeps pace in fifth-starter race

Park keeps pace in fifth-starter race
FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- Don't count out Chan Ho Park as the Dodgers' fifth starter. One day after incumbent Esteban Loaiza and teenager Clayton Kershaw seemed to set up a duel for the job, Park reached back to his glory days with a perfect three innings against the Orioles on Monday.
"He couldn't be much better," said manager Joe Torre. "He had command of both sides of the plate. He only made 39 pitches and had to finish off his work in the bullpen. He certainly hasn't done anything to hurt his chances."
Meaning, Park was efficient, particularly pitching inside to right-handed hitters. Torre said he hadn't seen enough of the 34-year-old Park in his Dodgers prime to compare the current version, but said this one looks much healthier than the one he saw when Park pitched for the Rangers.
Although he spent virtually all last year pitching in the Minor Leagues, Park said that is a big reason why he is pitching well enough this spring to allow two hits in seven scoreless innings.
"I was hurt in Texas and I couldn't throw the two-seamer they wanted me to throw in that ballpark," said Park. "It was hard to handle that. My back got better and pitching in the Minor Leagues, I could work on things without pressure. During the winter, I looked at a lot of pictures and worked on my mechanics, and now I can keep my pitches down a lot better."
Park said Monday's outing was his best of the spring because a groin strain that has been nagging him is much improved.
Park's outing was more impressive than that of Eric Stults, another fifth-starter candidate, who walked four in 1 2/3 innings.
Back at Dodgertown, likely Opening Day starter Brad Penny threw 57 pitches in four-plus innings of a Minor League game, allowing one run on one hit. He is scheduled to start Saturday in Viera against the Nationals.
Reliever Rudy Seanez, healing from a groin strain, also pitched in that game, but allowed two hits, a walk and a hit batsman in two-thirds of an inning. Seanez's spot in the bullpen could go to any number of contenders, such as Yhency Brazoban, Greg Jones or Brian Falkenborg.
Gary Bennett caught Penny and Seanez in his first action after missing three days with lower back stiffness.

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. -- Non-roster Korean pitcher Chan Ho Park on Wednesday was named to start the March 15 opener of the two-game goodwill series with the Padres in China.
Park then followed Brad Penny to the mound and pitched two scoreless innings against the Mets in his longshot bid to make the club as the fifth starter.
Park said he is pleased to be participating in the China series, but hopeful the long trip will not interfere with his top priority, to return to the Dodgers' starting rotation. From 1997-2001, Park went 75-49 until leaving for a $60 million free-agent contract with the Texas Rangers.
Against the Mets, Park struck out three. He has not allowed a run in four spring innings. Eric Stults was named to start the second game against the Padres in Beijing on March 16.
Penny allowed one tainted run over three innings, the first Dodgers pitcher to go that far this spring. He said he's still building arm strength but was pleased by inducing nine ground balls. Manager Joe Torre praised the pitching of Mike Myers, the favorite to win the second left-hander job in the bullpen.

Mets at the plate: Top prospect Fernando Martinez doubled in the second inning, eventually scoring on a Raul Casanova double play. Outfielder Angel Pagan continued his torrid spring with yet another hit, pushing his Grapefruit League average to .429. He eventually gave way to Ezequiel Carrera, who tied the game with a single in the eighth. Anderson Hernandez won it on a walk-off single down the line in the ninth.
Dodgers on the mound: Brad Penny allowed his first earned run of the spring, but nothing else. He lasted three innings, walking two and yielding three hits. Rotation hopeful Chan Ho Park was even more impressive in relief, striking out three over two scoreless innings, while lefty specialist Mike Myers threw his third scoreless inning of the spring.
Mets on the mound: Johan Santana's second Mets appearance was more successful than his first by no small margin. After deferring his first turn in the rotation to further prepare for the upcoming season, Pedro Martinez will finally make his Spring Training debut for the Mets on Thursday night against the Nationals. He'll start opposite right-hander John Patterson in a 4:05 p.m. game in Viera, Fla., with Billy Wagner and Aaron Heilman also scheduled to pitch for the Mets.

They sure don't know. Here's what they do know -- it won't be Jason Schmidt, at least not to open the season. The right-hander is still recovering from shoulder surgery. Esteban Loaiza is the next logical candidate based on his track record. It's unfair to judge based on one appearance, but he didn't look any better than he did last year after his acquisition. After that it gets intriguing. Hong-Chih Kuo would give the Dodgers a left-hander in the rotation, but he's never been able to stay healthy. He's out of options and if he's still healthy when the season starts, it's likely to be him. He was penciled in as the fifth starter last spring, but got hurt. Non-roster contenders are led by Jason Johnson, who pitched well again on Monday, and former Dodger Chan Ho Park, who pitched well Saturday.
